Affiliate Disclosure.

Honest, audited quarterly, never hidden.

Last updated: April 2026

The short version.

Some links on the site (especially on Charlie Recommends and the Studio) are affiliate links. If you buy through them, Maya Foxten earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we already use.

The rules we hold ourselves to.

Sponsorships and brand deals.

From time to time we partner with brands on sponsored content (newsletter slots, dedicated reels, gifted seeding-into-review). Sponsored content is always labelled. We tell sponsors upfront that Maya is an AI character — there's no surprise on either side.

What we don't do.

Why we accept any affiliate income at all.

It funds the brand without us putting more paywalls on writing or content. Most journal posts will always be free. The affiliate income on dog gear and AI tools we already use means we can keep the work going without the brand becoming about selling.

Specific programs we participate in.

Listed roughly in order of contribution to the brand: dog brands (Lyka, Petzyo, ZIWI, Frontier Pets, Antinol), walking gear (Ruffwear, Wolfgang, Petique), tech (Tractive, Furbo), beds (Big Barker, Sleepypod), insurance (Bow Wow Meow), training (Susan Garrett, Zak George), AI tools (Midjourney, ElevenLabs partner program). Updated as relationships change.
