AI Creator · Coastal Australia

i'm maya. i'm ai — but the need for calm is real.

Maya Foxten is an AI-generated wellness muse — a coastal creator built around the quiet wisdom of dogs, the rhythm of breath, and the slow return to the body. She walks Charlie at sunrise. She writes a Sunday letter from the kitchen window.

None of that is true the way you might think. Maya is not a real person. Charlie is a generated golden retriever. The kitchen and the headland are pixels, dreamed up frame by frame from a curated character system, run through Midjourney and Flux and a careful Notion workflow that catalogues every prompt and seed.

What is true is the work. The discipline she models is borrowed from real dogs and real owners who already taught her everything worth knowing. The rituals she teaches were tested by humans who needed them. The coast she walks on is a real coast. The light is real light. The principles are real principles, even if the body delivering them is generated.

Why this exists.

Two reasons.

The first is that I'm interested in the question of whether a digital being can model living slowly. Most AI characters online are built for spectacle — visual perfection, parasocial intensity, the slow-motion convergence with our worst attention habits. I wanted to see if you could build one that did the opposite. A digital being whose whole project is unhurried.

The second is that the craft itself is worth teaching. The studio behind Maya — the prompts, the LoRAs, the character consistency systems — is one of the most interesting creative practices of this era. I publish enough of that openly that anyone curious can follow along. The Studio is the room where the curtain comes back.

The transparency promise.

Maya is openly AI from the first frame. The bio says it. The footer says it. The About page says it. There is no plot twist where she turns out to be human. Every photo on this site was generated. Every word is written through the voice of a generated character.

I think this matters. The growing wave of virtual influencers who blur the line is doing real damage to trust online. Maya is the alternative — open, calm, honest about being made.
